How Packd contracts your trip
Packd coordinates your group trip end-to-end. Depending on the specific arrangement, we may act as your agent to contract with third-party suppliers on your behalf, or as the organiser of the package itself. The model applicable to your trip will be identified clearly before you pay a deposit.
Section 02
Supplier terms
Bookings we arrange with hotels, activity operators, transport providers and other suppliers are subject to those suppliers' own terms in addition to ours. We will make relevant supplier terms available to you before you commit to a balance payment.
Section 03
Deposits and balances
- Deposits are collected per traveller through Stripe.
- A trip becomes confirmed once the group deposit target is reached.
- The balance date for each trip is shown on the confirmed trip page.
- All amounts include any Packd service fee unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Section 04
Changes and traveller substitutions
We will help you request changes to travellers, dates or included services wherever possible. Changes are subject to supplier terms and availability, and may attract fees which we will confirm in writing before proceeding.
Section 05
Cancellations
Cancellation rights and any charges that apply depend on how close the trip is and on the underlying supplier terms. See the Refund Policy for the full detail.
Section 06
Traveller obligations
- Hold a valid passport and any visas required for the destinations on your itinerary.
- Arrange appropriate travel insurance in line with our Travel Insurance guidance.
- Meet the age, ID and behaviour requirements of the suppliers we book on your behalf.
- Provide accurate traveller information (name as per passport, dates of birth where required, dietary or accessibility needs).
Section 07
Travel documents
Travellers receive a personal travel pack ahead of departure containing the itinerary, vouchers, transfer details and emergency contacts. It is also available in your Packd account at any time.
Section 08
Complaints during the trip
If something goes wrong during your trip, please tell us as soon as possible so we have the chance to put it right. Contact your concierge using the details in your travel pack, or email hello@getpackd.org for time-critical issues.
