Why financial protection matters
When you pay in advance for a trip, you need confidence that your money is looked after until your travel is delivered. UK travel-industry protection schemes exist precisely for that reason — they safeguard customer money in the event that a travel business is unable to fulfil a booking.

Our approach
Packd Travel Ltd is finalising the appropriate travel-industry protections ahead of taking bookings from paying customers. Our intention is that every trip we sell falls within a recognised UK traveller-protection framework, and that customer payments are held appropriately until services are delivered.
Section 03
How your payments are handled today
- Card payments are processed by Stripe under PCI DSS. Packd never sees or stores raw card details.
- Deposits and balances are held ahead of supplier bookings being confirmed and paid to suppliers only against confirmed services.
- Refund flows are handled through the original Stripe payment, reversing to your card.
Section 04
What we don't claim
We do not currently claim membership of, or protection under, any specific travel-industry scheme (such as ATOL or ABTA) on this page. Any such claims will only appear here once the arrangement is formally in place and evidenced.

Travel insurance
Financial protection is not a substitute for travel insurance. Every Packd traveller should hold appropriate travel insurance from the moment they pay their deposit — see our Travel Insurance guidance.
